Christmas can be a season of great joy. It is a time of God showing His great love for us. It can be a time of healing and renewed strength. Christmas is when we celebrate the birth of the Christ child. God sent His Son, Jesus, into the world to be born. His birth brought great joy to the world. In order to share the happiness of Christmas, B.E.M Educational institutions organized Christmas celebration in the Centanary hall on Friday 23 rd December 2016. The teachers of the Lower Primary School sang the prayer song.
The Principal Mr. Roshan Kumar welcomed the gathering.
The Chief Guest of the day Rev. Pramod Goni UBMC Udupi said that “Christmas is celebrated worldwide irrespective of any religion. The speciality of Christianity is that the Lord Almighty himself was born as a human being to spread the message of love, peace and happiness.” He concluded by blessing and wishing everyone to have a peaceful, holy and a Happy Christmas.
The President of the Institution Mr. Jayaprakash Simons wished all a very happy Christmas and happy new year. The Head Master Mr. Shankar K C proposed the vote of thanks. It was followed by an eye catching cultural programme by the students and staff of the Institution.
